I recently went on a very fun girls weekend to Palm Beach, Florida. Of course, it featured all of the usual suspects.. cocktails, a spa, a pool, and a lot of gossip. Palm Beach is a great destination for this type of trip as it has standout luxury hotels, great dining, and best of all, Worth Avenue for shopping!!
We kicked off the weekend with dinner at Buccan, a trendy restaurant with a great ambiance and tasty food, followed by drinks at HMF, the new bar inside the iconic Breakers hotel. The next morning, we headed straight to the Breakers for spa appointments. We didn’t stay here, as my wonderful friend hosted us, but the Breakers is a beautiful, iconic hotel that just spent $250 million on renovations over the past 10 years. They have 9 restaurants, 5 bars, 5 pools, and plenty of children’s activities! The pool we spent time at had a gradual entrance, perfect for the littlest swimmers. It is quite a large property, but that means there is something for everyone! I can’t wait to bring my family back one day.
After relaxing at the spa, we did a little shopping at the boutiques inside Breakers and had lunch at the Beach House restaurant. Following a great morning at Breakers, we did what all ladies on vacation love to do.. we shopped!! Worth Avenue is a famous Palm Beach street lined with boutiques and some even cuter boutiques and courtyards behind the main street! After a rough day of getting massages and shopping, we stopped at Nick & Johnnie’s for dinner, which has delicious seafood and a more casual atmosphere than Buccan.
Sunday morning we enjoyed a delicious brunch at a French bistro place in West Palm Beach called Pistache before we packed up and got ready to head to the airport for the short flight back to Dallas! It truly was a great weekend with a fun group of ladies.
Virtuoso amenities at the Breakers include: upgrade on arrival subject to availability, continental breakfast, and $100 resort credit once per stay.
